Today’s front page of the NY Times talked about the excessive number of times waterboarding was used. Credit was given to the blogs for finding this.
The new information on the number of waterboarding episodes came out over the weekend when a number of bloggers, including Marcy Wheeler of the blog emptywheel, [Note: Also including are own Bipart Report] discovered it in the May 30, 2005, memo.
I was also in the middle of the scoop of the MSM when I was part of debunking the infamous Killian Memo in 2004. In our conference call with the #tcot Report’s Mike Leahy he expressed an interest in investigative journalism. I suggest he pay attention what we are doing here rather than some Drudge-inspired mess of hyperlinks.
