Even though the Iranian government tried to suppress the people of Iran by cutting both Internet and mobile communications, they couldn’t block Twitter. See Mousavi’s Twitter page.

Mark Steyn is the Canadian born, British educated author who in 2006 published a book that I suggested a You Tube phenomenon was taken from. Steyn now lives in the USA because his hate filled writing is no longer welcome in Canada. Steyn has found an audience here and that should be troubling.

@davidbadash takes on those “twitter cowards” both liberal and conservative who sling insults while hiding behind false names and sometimes not so innocent looking avatars. David writes “The only thing better than winning a debate is having one.” I truly believe that. Civil discourse and debate are what grow our democracy, our culture, and our minds.
