Teaparty

This column focuses on TCOT’s ineffectiveness and touches on the 68-31 bipartisan victory of Jutice Sotomayor at the end.
Last night TCOT founder Michael P Leahy hosted a conference call to rally supporters to join the planned August 22 anti-Obamacare rallies happening in front of congressional offices across the country. I joined the call 15 minutes [...]

James von Brunn was not the only right-wing extremist who committed racially-motivated acts of terror this year. Rich Poplawski donned a bulletproof vest and killed three police officers in Pittsburgh. More on Poplawski in a moment. (The union that represented murdered Stephen Johns tried in vain for two years to get the guards at the Holocaust Museum the same kind of [...]

In recent months I have had a hard time determining where I fit into the whole political scheme of things.  I am a conservative, however, I don’t feel that I am or have been represented in Washington for a while.  I have occasionally voted a party line, but for the most part I have voted [...]

Unless you were living under a rock, you must have heard about the Tea Party protests that took place across the country yesterday. Reading the coverage so far, though, I think that many are missing the significance of these events. The four most significant things I noticed were that A) this was a gathering of [...]

Conservative blogger and twitter @kylesellers talks about the successes of the TEAparties and answers liberal liberal critics and takes on CNN for “shoddy, equally agenda-driven reporting”
Yesterday, CNN “reporter” and Obama administration apologist Susan Roesgen was harassed by mean, ignorant, right-wing extremists at a Tea Party.  Luckily, she was there to remind them that they are [...]

They don’t have a clear [...]

TCOT and the American TEAparty organizers have created a list of reasons why you should be at their April 15th rallies. Once you read the list it boils down to whether you believe the rhetoric and exaggeration or not. Given the support Obama enjoys in the polls and the high number of people who think [...]

Don’t let the conservatives snow you during the April 15 teaparty rallies that Obama is creating debt for our children. That horse left the barn a long time ago. Obama won’t be able to get it back in even with two terms. Its time to call the conservatives on the deficit and debt crap they are going on about. The debt was placed on our kids and grandkids starting in 1981. Years of political waste and over spending by Republicans 20 years in office have gotten us here. Reagan style economics is to blame. So cut the crap.

The Boston Tea Party was a protest by colonists in Boston against the British government on December 16, 1773. After officials in Boston refused to return three shiploads of taxed tea to Britain, a group of colonists boarded the ships and destroyed the tea by throwing it into Boston Harbor.
That great patriotic event is being [...]
